What's new

New features and changes to VerifiedWallet and its API. We add fields but never remove or rename them within an API version. RSS feed.

Verification, without the busywork

  • Check before you send: paste any address to see if its owner is verified, whether it's a listed company's wallet, and get warned about lookalike addresses used in address poisoning. Free API: GET /api/check/<address>.
  • Business directory: verified companies can list their wallets under their registered name.
  • Verification Links: no-code links and QR codes from the developer dashboard.
  • Verify with VerifiedWallet: OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect sign-in with PKCE and signed id tokens.
  • Claims: ask for single facts (over 18, country, nationality, not sanctioned) instead of documents.
  • Proof of funds: a signed balance snapshot when the customer signs.
  • Address screening: POST /api/v1/screen for any address, no customer needed.
  • Evidence packs: one file per verification for auditors, JSON or printable.
  • Reuse a verified identity: customers who verified in the last 12 months can reuse the result, with consent.
  • EAS attestations: every certificate as an Ethereum Attestation Service attestation on Base.
  • Developer tools: test triggers (test_outcome), request and webhook logs with resend, usage alerts, popup embed, JavaScript and Python SDKs.
  • Teams: invite colleagues with roles, two-step sign-in, switch between accounts.
  • Browser extension: check addresses on any page.
  • Status page: live checks of every part of the service.

Business certificates, multisig and the partner API

  • Business tier: company checked against the official register, directors and signatories verified.
  • Multisig wallets: Bitcoin multisig, Safe and Tron multi-signature accounts.
  • Tier 3 AML screening live, with ongoing monitoring for partners.
  • Partner API with a self-serve developer portal, test keys, monthly billing and plans.
